Infrared

Every remote in the room

With a second-generation Flirc, Stagehand receives and sends infrared. Every key of every infrared remote in the room becomes a trigger, and a step switches anything that listens to infrared: projectors, TVs, AV receivers, LED strips.

Key maps

A key map gives the keys of a remote names, so the trigger reads “Beamer › Ein/Aus” instead of a number. A catalog brings the usual keys of 25 common remotes, by Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Philips, projectors, AV receivers and LED strips. Your own you learn key by key and try with „Senden“ (send).

Protocols

Stagehand knows NEC, Samsung, Apple, RC5, RC6, Sony, Panasonic, Denon, Sharp and JVC. Keys of other remotes it keeps as a raw signal, which can be copied and entered as Pronto Hex.

The catalog's codes contain data from irdb by Simon Peter and contributors, used with permission, and from Flipper-IRDB.
