Profiles
One setup per show
A profile is a complete set of actions, states and Stream Deck keys. Exactly one is active, so every show, every studio and every cast gets its own setup of the same devices, switched in the menu.
Backups
Stagehand backs up every profile by itself, at most hourly and only when it changed, and thins out older backups as Time Machine does.
Passing on
An exported profile is a .stagehandprofile file and takes along the remotes, MIDI devices and infrared key maps it
names. When importing, Stagehand first shows what the file brings, with checkboxes, and adds it to a new profile or
the active one without deleting anything. Backups come back the same way.
