Performance
Smooth, even on an M1
Aerial image, terrain, buildings, roads and names at once, and the flight stays smooth. Kugelblitz is made and measured on a Mac mini with M1 and 16 GB.

No frame waits for data
What is missing Kugelblitz loads in the background, looking ahead along the flight path, and fades every change in softly. Until the finer tile is there, the coarser one stands in the picture.
Set for every Mac
At the first launch and on every other kind of Mac, Kugelblitz measures for a few seconds how fast the Mac draws and then chooses frame rate, terrain shadows and memory to suit the largest display it has run on on this Mac. Your own choice under Settings → Performance stays; that is also where you see what was measured and what Kugelblitz recommends.
Native on Apple silicon
Kugelblitz is an app for Apple silicon and draws directly with Metal 4.
